Deepening spiritual conversations on desire, ecology and consciousness

Using Spinoza’s idea of “conatus” as a starting point, this project is a spiritual inquiry into what “life-force” is, and how it expresses itself in humans and all living beings. What is life, and how is it related to questions of desire and consciousness? A series of live conversations with renowned Swedish and international guests will explore these questions in a public context. In conjunction with the live events, a series of workshops will provide the opportunity for a smaller group to delve into these questions more deeply.

The project will take place in the Stockholm/Uppsala area, fall 2023.

CONATUS is a project initiated by the Forest of Thought, a podcast exploring our ecology of ideas, focusing on questions of nature, consciousness, spirituality and living well in relation to all living beings.
