FOSSIL Eco-Tech

Creating a transcendent sonic and ceremonial space together with stone.

Fossil Eco-Tech aims to create a deeper and broadened relation to stone, as a being worth respecting and venerating, and through sound opening up a space to connect to the stone in a sonic dimension.

FOSSIL is the composer, sound artist and performer Alexandra Nilsson´s ongoing project based on stone, where she researches the material both acoustically, performatively and sculpturally, together with a deep interest of stones in an ecological, geological and cultural context.

In the project FOSSIL Eco Tech she will, through the help and integration of technology, research how the body and the stones can become one instrument, creating a magical immersive sound experience.
To be presented at Fylkingen, venue for experimental music and art in Stockholm, autumn 2025.
